Just be
It will not be easy but at those key moments what matters the most is your support, your smile and your energy.
Will you undo all those years of programming? Do you want to? Is that the fair thing to do? Is it your choice to do that?
Your roll is to be, just be, listen, offer advice where required or asked for. Expect nothing.
It will be hard, there will be things you see wrong, there must be no judgement, judgement in itself is not your place.
Just be, in being you may just be what’s required.
